So as the physical reactions alter and shift, a new and perhaps particularly irritating and peculiar pain is one change which can for sure bring a relief or distraction to the previous nasty one..... likewise, if the kids are driving you crazy with whining and other offenisve sounds, it is quite extraordinary how a car alarm in the street which won;t stop, can then be the change which pushes other sounds into the background.... I won't actually go so far as to advocate bashing oneself over the head in order to provide relief from sore knees, for example. But it's at least an amusing thought.... xx evaeva in cloud kooky landhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766742363625080470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1487590480162967217.post-77270924530960009372011-03-31T09:32:24.966-07:002011-03-31T09:32:24.966-07:00I had no idea Washington Irving could be so funny!...I had no idea Washington Irving could be so funny! I like the image of traveling by stagecoach. I've only seen them in Westerns. Hmmm...what would that be like?

I certainly have been on physical journeys in which it was "a comfort to shift one's position, and be bruised in a new place." Our inner stagecoach journeys of lurching and resting strengthen us.

Janet RiehlJanet Riehlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13969091105569421090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1487590480162967217.post-78480510487442628992011-03-31T08:30:13.635-07:002011-03-31T08:30:13.635-07:00Hi Jenny-
